I’ve developed this theory I call the ‘Absolute Values of Emotion’

I’m in the process of a patent. At least I wish I was in the process of a patent.

So basically, when you’re extremely happy we’re going to call that 20 positive points, and moderately happy would be like, 10 positive points, etc. When you’re extremely sad that’s going to be like 20 negative points, and moderately sad would be like 10 negative points, and so on.

So, by absolute values from a mathematical standpoint, we know that

x=|-x|

So, same goes for emotions I think. 20 positive points of emotion, is 20 points of emotional experience. And with this theory, -50 points of a negative emotion would be 50 points of emotional experience.

Why is a negative emotion a bad experience? It’s not, and I’m trying to fucking prove it to you through my beautiful postulate right here. You’re simply adding to your level of experience to the emotional world, which is a beautiful and envied thing.

To know real, honest grief, is as valuable as knowing tangible happiness. And if you’ve experienced both, consider yourself a lucky soul to have truly seen behind doors some search their whole lives just to find.
